These Terms apply to the Routine Hive mobile application for iOS and Android, the Routine Hive website, user accounts, family groups, managed child profiles, task and goal features, subscription features, and any related services provided by Sino-Alpine e.U.
Additional terms from Apple, Google, RevenueCat, payment processors, or other third-party platforms may also apply when you download the app, create an account, purchase a subscription, or use platform-based services.
Routine Hive is a family productivity and routine app designed to help families create, organize, complete, and review tasks, routines, habits, and goals. The app may include features such as family groups, managed child profiles, points, avatars, task templates, task history, and premium family collaboration features.
Routine Hive is intended as an organizational and motivational tool. It does not replace parental supervision, professional advice, education, childcare, safety monitoring, or emergency services.
You must be at least 13 years old to create and use your own Routine Hive account.
Children under 13 may only use Routine Hive through a managed child profile created and controlled by a parent or legal guardian. Managed child profiles are not independent user accounts.
Parents and legal guardians are responsible for creating, managing, supervising, and monitoring child profiles and for ensuring that the child’s use of Routine Hive is appropriate and lawful.
Some features of Routine Hive require an account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by family members or managed child profiles that you create, invite, or manage.
You must not share your login credentials with unauthorized persons, use another person’s account without permission, attempt to bypass security features, or interfere with the operation of Routine Hive.
Routine Hive allows users to create or join family groups. A family group may include parents, other family members, and managed child profiles.
A parent or authorized adult family member may create managed child profiles for children. The parent or legal guardian is responsible for the accuracy of profile information, the suitability of tasks assigned to children, and the child’s use of the app.
Routine Hive is not responsible for family disputes, disagreements about tasks, rewards, roles, points, or access rights inside a family group. Family administrators are responsible for managing their own family group and invited members.
The maximum number of family members or profiles may be limited. Currently, Routine Hive may limit a family group to up to 10 members or profiles, unless otherwise stated in the app.
Routine Hive may offer a free version with limited functionality. The free version may allow basic use such as creating an account, using limited task features, and creating a managed child profile on the same device.
Free features may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time, provided that mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Routine Hive may offer a paid subscription called Family Plus. Family Plus may unlock premium features such as creating a family group, inviting other members, syncing family activity across devices, premium collaboration features, expanded family functionality, and other features shown in the app.
The subscription may be purchased by one family member. Access to Family Plus features may be connected to the family group, the purchasing account, or the subscription status, depending on the technical setup of the app and the applicable app store rules.
Family Plus may be available as a monthly or annual subscription. Example prices may include EUR 3.99 per month or EUR 35.99 per year, but prices may vary by country, currency, platform, taxes, app store rules, promotions, and region.
The exact current price, billing interval, included features, renewal conditions, and any applicable taxes will be displayed before purchase in the app or in the relevant app store purchase flow.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases may be processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or another authorized payment or subscription management provider.
Unless otherwise stated before purchase, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You authorize the applicable platform or payment provider to charge the payment method connected to your account.
Subscription management, renewal, cancellation, payment confirmation, taxes, currency conversion, and refund handling may be governed by the rules of Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or the applicable payment provider.
Sino-Alpine e.U. may use RevenueCat or similar services to manage subscription status, entitlement verification, purchase history, and access to premium features.
You may cancel your subscription through the platform where you purchased it, such as your Apple App Store account settings or Google Play subscription settings.
Deleting the app, deleting your account, leaving a family group, or uninstalling Routine Hive does not automatically cancel an active subscription. You must cancel the subscription through the applicable app store or payment provider.
If you cancel a subscription, you may continue to have access to Family Plus features until the end of the current paid billing period, unless the subscription is refunded, revoked, terminated, or otherwise cancelled earlier according to the applicable platform rules or mandatory law.
If a Family Plus subscription expires, is cancelled, payment fails, is refunded, or is otherwise no longer active, the family group may be downgraded to the free version.
After a downgrade, existing tasks, profiles, task history, and family data may remain visible or stored, but premium features may become unavailable. This may include, for example, creating or inviting additional family members, using premium collaboration features, accessing expanded family functionality, or creating new premium content.
Downgrading does not automatically delete existing tasks or profiles. However, some actions may be blocked, limited, or made read-only until a valid Family Plus subscription is restored.
Refunds for purchases made through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another platform are generally handled by the platform or payment provider according to their rules and applicable law.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction that grants a statutory right of withdrawal, you may have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days, subject to legal exceptions for digital content or digital services where performance has begun with your consent and where the law allows the withdrawal right to expire.
Where the purchase is handled by Apple, Google, or another platform, the platform’s refund and withdrawal process may apply. You should use the refund or cancellation tools provided by the platform where you made the purchase.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Routine Hive may allow you to create, upload, enter, or store content, including profile names, avatars, photos, custom task names, goals, routines, task descriptions, icons, points, and other family-related information.
You retain ownership of your user content. By using Routine Hive, you grant Sino-Alpine e.U. a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, transmit, and technically use your content only as necessary to provide, secure, improve, and operate Routine Hive.
You are responsible for your user content and must ensure that it is lawful, appropriate, and does not infringe the rights of others.
If Routine Hive allows avatar or image uploads, you must only upload images that you have the right to use and that are suitable for a family app.
You must not upload content that is illegal, abusive, discriminatory, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, threatening, defamatory, misleading, privacy-invasive, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.
Sino-Alpine e.U. reserves the right to remove, block, restrict, or delete uploaded content at any time if we believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, platform rules, safety standards, or the intended family-friendly purpose of Routine Hive.
Routine Hive is designed as a task, routine, and family organization app. It does not currently provide a general chat or private messaging function between users.
If communication-related features are introduced in the future, additional rules may apply.
You agree not to use Routine Hive for unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.
In particular, you must not:
Sino-Alpine e.U. reserves the right to remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, disable family groups, or block features if we reasonably believe that:

Your use of Routine Hive is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, stored, shared, and protected.
Because Routine Hive may involve family members and managed child profiles, parents and legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and consent to enter or manage information about children or family members.
You should not enter sensitive personal information into Routine Hive unless it is necessary for your own family organization and you have the right to do so.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Sino-Alpine e.U. grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Routine Hive for your personal and family use.
You do not acquire ownership of the app, software, code, design, trademarks, content, or related intellectual property. All rights not expressly granted remain reserved by Sino-Alpine e.U. or its licensors.
Routine Hive, including its name, branding, design, software, features, text, graphics, icons, interface, logos, and related materials, is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works based on Routine Hive unless expressly permitted by Sino-Alpine e.U. or mandatory law.
We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Routine Hive at any time. Updates may include bug fixes, security improvements, performance improvements, design changes, new features, feature limitations, or changes required by app stores or law.
Some features may depend on internet access, third-party services, app stores, cloud infrastructure, device compatibility, operating system versions, or subscription status.
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available access to Routine Hive.
Routine Hive may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, internet outages, third-party service interruptions, app store issues, security incidents, or events beyond our reasonable control.
You are responsible for maintaining a compatible device, operating system, internet connection, and app store account where required.
Routine Hive may use or integrate third-party services, including but not limited to Apple, Google, RevenueCat, authentication providers, analytics providers, cloud hosting providers, notification services, and payment or subscription management services.
Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, technical requirements, and availability limitations. Sino-Alpine e.U. is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
If you download or use Routine Hive through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:
If you download or use Routine Hive through Google Play, Google Play’s terms, billing rules, refund rules, and subscription management rules may apply in addition to these Terms.
You may need to manage, cancel, or review your subscription through your Google Play account settings if the subscription was purchased through Google Play.
Routine Hive provides family organization, task, and routine features only. It does not provide legal, medical, psychological, educational, financial, safety, parenting, or professional advice.
You are responsible for deciding whether tasks, routines, goals, rewards, or family settings are appropriate for your family and children.
Routine Hive is provided with reasonable care and skill. However, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that Routine Hive will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or suitable for every family situation.
Mandatory consumer warranty rights remain unaffected.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, mandatory product liability, statutory consumer rights, or any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sino-Alpine e.U. is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of data, loss of business, family disputes, missed tasks, missed reminders, device issues, third-party service failures, or damages caused by misuse of Routine Hive.
For consumers, this limitation applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer protection laws.
You may stop using Routine Hive at any time. You may also request account deletion where supported by the app or by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, create legal or security risks, fail to pay applicable fees, or if we are required to do so by law, app store rules, or platform requirements.
Termination may result in loss of access to your account, family group, premium features, and stored content, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes may be necessary due to new features, subscription changes, legal requirements, platform requirements, business changes, or security reasons.
If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example through the app, website, email, or app store release notes. Continued use of Routine Hive after the effective date of updated Terms means that you accept the updated Terms, unless mandatory law requires another form of consent.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
If you are a consumer resident in another country, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under mandatory consumer protection law.
If you are acting as a business user, the competent courts in Austria shall have jurisdiction, to the extent legally permitted.
If you are a consumer, the applicable statutory rules on jurisdiction apply. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer jurisdiction rights.
We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, unless participation is required by mandatory law.
The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform has been discontinued. Consumers may still have access to other consumer advice bodies or dispute resolution bodies under applicable law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid and enforceable. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the original economic and legal purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
